Advanced Football Development Centre
At Burnley Football Club we take youth development very seriously, the youths are the future for the club.
The idea of AFDC is to bring young talented local players to the club and provide them with professional coaching from highly qualified and experienced coaches.
The AFDC is a stepping stone to our centre of excellence so each session will be based on two things:
- Coaching players in all different areas of football (passing, shooting, dribbling and control). Each session will concentrate on a different area of football, beginning with basic technique and building up.
- Having FUN!! Because this will aid the children's personal development and happy children will learn more quickly. Children not enjoying football will not want to learn, and therefore stop their advance in their development.
